We are a Berlin-based software startup building an AI-powered platform that helps businesses manage, automate, and scale their customer communication across channels like WhatsApp, Instagram, email, and SMS.
About the role:
The Commercial Graduate Program at hellomateo is a structured entry program for graduates who want to start a career in B2B SaaS sales and learn how a fast-growing startup builds and scales its commercial engine. Over the course of the program, participants gradually take on more responsibility in the sales process, beginning with outbound lead generation and qualification, where they identify potential customers, conduct initial conversations, and understand the challenges of different industries. They work with tools like HubSpot to manage the sales pipeline, experiment with outreach and growth strategies, and collaborate closely with the founders and Head of Sales to continuously improve the company’s go-to-market approach. As the program progresses, graduates move into more advanced roles, including leading product demos, advising potential customers, and ultimately taking ownership of deals as a Junior Account Executive. 
A key aspect of the program is the structured development path: Monat - Monat 1-6: Junior Sales Development Representative (Bachelor: 42.000€ | Master: 46.000€ OTE)
- Monat 7-12: Sales Development Representative (Bachelor: 48.000€ | Master: 52.000€ OTE)
- Monat 13-18: Senior Development Representative (Bachelor: 56.000€ | Master: 60.000€ OTE)
- Monat 18-24: Junior Account Executive (Bachelor: 65.000€ | Master: 70.000€ OTE)
In short, the program is designed to give graduates a fast-track into SaaS sales by combining hands-on customer interaction, structured training, and direct insight into how a high-growth startup builds its revenue engine. 
Who you are:
- You are about to complete your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Ideally, you have gained initial professional experience through internships in startups, sales, or other customer-facing roles.
- You have a strong interest in sales and go-to-market topics and enjoy interacting with customers on a daily basis.
- You enjoy working in a team and have excellent communication skills.
- You are a fast learner with a startup mindset – enthusiastic, self-motivated, and hands-on.
- You have a positive attitude and are resilient in the face of setbacks.
- You have native-level German language skills.
- You are currently in the final stages of your studies or have recently graduated.
