This two-year traineeship is designed to fast-track graduates into senior Operations Manager roles by combining boots-on-the-ground leadership with strategic project management. Year 1: Foundation & People Leadership Operational Immersion: You start directly on the warehouse floor, gaining a deep understanding of the Fulfillment Center (FC). Shift Management: For three days a week, you lead shifts as a Team Lead, coordinating staff and ensuring smooth daily execution. Mentorship & Coaching: You receive targeted training in leadership, focusing on motivation, conflict resolution, and recruitment. Process Optimization: You apply your analytical skills to real-world bottlenecks, running projects to boost productivity in your FC. Year 2: Strategic Impact & Growth International Exposure: You gain the opportunity to work at different (inter)national sites or within other departments across the supply chain to broaden your perspective. Scaling & Automation: You lead larger-scale projects, such as optimizing order flows or launching new, fully automated fulfillment centers. Leadership Pipeline: Upon completion, you transition into an experienced Operations Manager role, taking full accountability for one of Picnic's key logistical hubs.
